Zenatha Scores First Goal For The Season

Valencia CF' star Zenatha Coleman scored the first goal of the season as Valencia stun Espanyol.
Namibian international player got off the mark to ensure her side the first win of the season. Zenatha, who just came in for the final 20 minutes to hit the net in securing Valencia’s 3-0 win over Espanyol. The Valencia CF Women won, in the second round of Spanish Liga Iberdrola encounter on Sunday, September 15.

Zenatha, who just came in for the final 20 minutes, opened-up with a running speed and scored a cunning goal from an edge of the net, but in the previous match she could not inspire the team to a win as they settled for a 2-2 draw with Deportivo de La Coruña at Estadio Antonio Puchades last week. This time, she came in as a substitute in the 69th minute and scored her first goal of the season as Valencia CF Femenino gained their first win of the season.


Following a goalless first half, Carol Ferez and Asun Martinez scored within 10 minutes after the restart of the match before Coleman bagged a third.The win takes Valencia to fifth on the log with four points from two games. In the upcoming game Coleman hope she will continue in the same form and pace when Valencia will host Athletic FC in their next league game on September 22.
