Liverpool and Real Madrid are reportedly in regular contact with Kylian Mbappe over a stunning Paris Saint-Germain exit next summer.

L’Equipe claims the striker, 21, is unsure if his future remains in France after entering the final two years of his £19.5million-a-season contract. Mbappe has just embarked on his fourth season in the capital. And after winning three Ligue 1 titles while scoring 91 goals in 125 games, he is considering a change of scenery.

PSG have so far failed to coax Mbappe into fresh contract talks. It’s believed Liverpool tried signing Mbappe twice, once in 2016 when he was at Monaco and again the following year when he opted to join PSG. And L’Equipe claim they have remained in contact with Mbappe’s representatives ever since. He is said to be a big fan of Jurgen Klopp and is tempted by the prospect of leading the line at Anfield.

SHAW’S WISH COULD BACKFIRE

Following the shock loss at home to Crystal Palace in Manchester United’s first game of the season over the weekend, left-back Luke Shaw admitted the club needed more new signings. Only Dutchman Donny van de Beek, who scored on his debut at Old Trafford, has been brought in so far as talks for Jadon Sancho have hit a brick wall.

However, according to the Guardian, Brazil defender Alex Telles is in talks to join to compete with Shaw and Brandon Williams for the left-back berth. The Porto player has publicly insisted he is only focused on playing for his current club, but reports have suggested he has already agreed personal terms with United, with only a fee left to be agreed.

ARSENAL’S MIDFIELD SWAP

Arsenal will look to push for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey in the final two weeks of the transfer window and are willing to include Lucas Torreira in the deal. Both Arsenal and Atletico cannot buy until they sell, making the deal more difficult to get over the line as neither can really afford it.

But now that Torino have cooled their interest in the Uruguayan midfielder, Arsenal will hope to flog him to the LaLiga side in an attempt to slash the price of the Ghanaian, who is believed to have a £50m release clause in his contract. Atletico are currently working on a number of similar deals, with Luis Suarez likely to join once they manage to offload Diego Costa.
